Not just beat, pwned - with a 'p'. Yep, that bittersweet feeling I get from finishing a game, but knowing that it's over, is back, so it's the perfect time to post my thoughts and get rid of it. I'm warning everyone now that the entire post is gonna be KH2 related, and that there's two cuts, but anything storyline related will ONLY be behind the second cut. The first paragraph stuff that isn't is just gonna be me mentioning (bragging >.>; ) about my final stats for the game, and mentioning how nasty the last challenge was. So, if you don't wanna read anything, scroll past the whole post now. *sighs* All this trouble doing these cuts though, I hate doing cuts when I'm tired. I hope you appreciate this...

That said, for those who remember, I restarted a while back on Normal mode (after the disaster on Easy x.x). I was fully aware that I'd have to completely finish the Jiminy Journal 100% to get the secret ending...and I DID. Barely. The last Hercules tournament is EVIL. EEEEEVIL! There's not even a proper way to describe just how EVIL! and nervewracking...GAH! *cough* >.> I still can't believe I beat it with the high score on the first try. I was shaking like a leaf after round 30 or so from it getting to me, and was completely spazzing by round 40, and in the end was in disbelief after I pulled it off, and agreed that I'm NEVER going to do that again, ever. I'll play in Proud mode first. Beating Sephy was a cakewalk compared. Oh an while the sythesis list was a bit tedious and boring, finishing that was a minor problem. In the end, my final level was 99, and my gametime was at around 65 hours. Not too long at all.

In the end, it was well worth it.

If you were reading from the first cut, this is where the second cut begins, so anything past here are MAJOR SPOILERS! You've been warned...

Alrightly. The secret ending was as badass as I'd heard, but I'll give my thoughts on that later. First, the normal ending. This will cover the WHOLE thing, so it's long, so be prepared ^^; There is a point. I actually use these as references later when I don't have the time to rewatch game endings and I wanna refresh my memory on events or initial thougts, so I'm very detailed about it. I do it with most every game.

Right, starting. Oh man, I love how they did that false ending thing during the first part of the boss fight, but even if I hadn't already known there was other stuff past that point, I'da figured something was up and that there's NO way it could be over that easily. There's NEVER a one-part boss fight in a Square game (at least not to my knowledge). Still, it was perfect for adding in the last bits of story.

Ok, I admit it, I fangirl "squeee"-d when Roxas showed up again, and even more when I realized Sora could see him too. It was great. I'd actually grown to like Roxas more as the game went on, and I'd been hoping that they'd get to meet like that. Even better than I could have hoped, Naminè and Kairi were there too, so Sora, Kairi, Roxas, and Naminè all got to meet and talk together for a bit. It was perfect. That part made me extremely happy and will probably be my second reason to replay the boss fight at a future date.

After that bit, things slowed down again after Sora and Riku get separated and you're forced into two easy "are only there to draw things out and annoy you" second and third parts of the boss fight, and finally things pick back up again when you enter the fourth and final fight with Xenmas.

That fight kicked ass. I loved the fact that you get to control Riku, even if just for a little while (hadn't done that since I played Chain of Memories). Then there was Xenmas' final move. I'm happy to say I didn't get to find out what happens if those lazers actually hit you. I deflected every one, and had a time watching Sora and Riku do all the cool keyblade stuff, even if my arm was getting tired beating on the triangle and X buttons at the same time. I just kept thinking on how much it would suck to actually have to DO that kinda stuff (sword-swinging that fast) for real. Gotta love video game characters and their lack of fatigue and disregard for the laws of physics ^_^

Afterwards, some "awww" moments between Sora and Riku. Too...cute... In all honesty, if someone was to ask me now what character I like best, I'd probably answer Sora, but in my mind, I don't really know. I like them both the same. Sora for his cheery personality and general silliness, and Riku because he's sexay :P Also, he's got the more tragic of the character storylines, and it makes you feel for him. Anyways, I'd better stop now, my fangirly-ness is showing badly.

You know you're at the very end when the FMV starts and the graphics get drastically more awsome. I <3 FMVs. I was happy to see that Sora and Riku both make it home this time, and you get to see Roxas and Namine one last time (reminding you that they'll always be a part of Sora and Kairi, even if you can't see them), but it ended so suddenly when Sora takes Kairi's hand (although he DOES finally keep his promise to give her back her lucky charm). I wanted MORE (*foamfoam*) Thankfully, that's what epiloges are for!

I was glad to see that they did, in fact, do the proper closings for some of the worlds. I was surprised, thinking they'd keep them open for KH3 (since we almost know for a fact there will be one). In the end, they show Belle and the Beast in the Ballroom, do a bit of a scene change, then you see the Beast changed back into the prince, dancing with Belle. The Little Mermaid bit showed the wedding scene from the end of the movie, with Ariel as a human. Kinda makes me sad that they won't be doing any more Atlantica stuff, I'll miss it (unless they actually use the sequel's storyline next somehow, but it'd be wierd). Also, the Lion King finished up too, with Rafiki holding up Simba's cub, Kiara (but it also opens the possibility for a Lion King 2 based storyline. I loved that movie as much as the first one. They could even introduce Kovu too as a replacement for Simba). Other movies with sequels are Aladdin (the King of Thieves one), Mulan (though it sucked), and there's a Pirates of the Carribean one coming out later this summer. So, while Disney's running out of movies to use, they can still rehash some of them. Still, I'm hoping for a more original storyline for the third, with less Disney and more of the original or Final Fantasy characters. I wanna see Zidane from FFIX dammit >.o Oh, yes, and one epiloge that gets mentioned because it made me laugh was Tron. Looks like they tweaked his program after all, he was dancing ^^;

The last bits with Destiny Island was pretty cool. The epilogue scene showed Sora looking at all the drawings they'd done in that cave, and he finally got to see that Kairi finished the picture from the ending of the first one, the one where they drew giving each other that star-shaped fruit (however the heck it's spelled. Can't remember). It was another "aww" moment. Then, and I believe this is actually part of the secret ending because it starts another FMV, they show Sora and Riku talking and Kairi gives them a message. It's from the king. It doesn't tell you what it says, but it DOES cut to the last part of the ending.

The secret ending was confusing as hell, but then again, it's probably supposed to be. Both Deep Dive endings for KH1 were the same way. I wonder who the armored people were...they picked up Sora, Riku, and Mickey's keyblades, but they had their own to start. Then you see a whole crapload of keyblades! They're everywhere! If this means the start of a massive keyblade battle for the third, man...I just can't imagine how kickass it'd be. Battling other kayblade masters would be interesting. Or maybe, just maybe, it'll be a prequel. Doubt it, but you never know. Hope not though, I tend to dislike prequels. I wanna play as Sora again too. Maybe next time you'll get Riku and Kairi as party members, that would rock. I loved Kairi's keyblade, the one Riku gave her that you only get to see once, it was so pretty. Wonder what happened to it? She didn't have it after that, and I didn't see it in the secret ending either...unless I missed it... I'll have to watch it again, but I'll download it or something instead ^^;

Anyways, it's exceedingly late (5:40 am, I started this a little before 4 x.x), and I need sleep. If you actually read this whole thing, pat yourself on the back, and leave a comment so I can thank you. You deserve at least that after reading all of this. Seriously. Anyways, later!
